Learn something new at the Texas Chapter of The Wildlife Society’s Webinar series. The quarterly webinar series for the chapter features professionals, research, and initiatives relevant to our chapter. Registration is open to both TCTWS members and nonmembers. The series will follow a quarterly schedule and rotate themes throughout the year, giving listeners a peek into topics such as emerging technologies, career skill-building, partner highlights, and knowledge deep-dives.

This webinar's speaker will be Dr. Hunter Reed with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Dr. Reed is one of the two wildlife veterinarians for TPWD. He went to Cornell University for his veterinary degree as well as to University of Minnesota for his Master’s of Public Health. He previously worked for Texas Animal Health Commission as a Veterinary Epidemiologist working on disease issues such as cattle fever ticks, tuberculosis, and piroplasmosis. Now working for TPWD, addresses wildlife disease issues like HPAI, bighorn sheep pneumonia, and Chronic Wasting Disease.

Join us quarterly as we learn about what makes Texas wildlife stewardship excellent.  Each webinar is hosted virtually through Microsoft Teams. Be sure to register for the event here.
