The year’s Annual Meeting provides an opportunity for Texas Master Naturalist volunteers from around the state to gather, participate in hands-on educational seminars, and receive all of their Advanced Training requirements for the year within one weekend. It’s also an opportunity for program participants and supporters to network, share new ideas/projects, and to learn from different chapters from different regions of the state. This year’s meeting will also include day trips and training workshops to many local, state and even national refuges/parks, many of which will focus on the diversity of geography, flora, fauna and history this unique area of Texas so centrally located offers.

Over the last 20 years, the TMN program has grown by leaps and bounds with active chapters in every corner of the state, and over 11,000+ trained volunteers to date who have given back 4.5+ million volunteer service hours in conservation outreach, education and management activities. This footprint in Texas is huge. And the Annual Meeting is the pinnacle of each year’s successes with new seminars and projects being presented for our volunteers to get involved with in their counties, new skills and tools for them to take back to the field, and valuable networks of experts to work with in their ecosystems.

Join us on the northeastern edge of the Texas hillcountry for the Texas Master Naturalist Program Annual Meeting to gather, learn and celebrate their 20th Anniversary. For more information, please visit the TMN event page: Texas Master Naturalist Annual Meeting
