The Golden-cheeked Warbler (Setophaga chrysoparia) is a federally endangered songbird that breeds exclusively in central Texas. There are few recorded observations of Golden-cheeked Warblers outside their breeding and wintering ranges or migration route. We provide the first documented detection of this species at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge in southwestern Oklahoma.
