Private Land Stewardship
Our Private Land Stewardship Program fosters stewardship of private lands and their associated public benefits through engagement and partnerships. Our work and rapport with private landowners and private landowner groups offers unique engagement opportunities to relay research results and pragmatic solutions to emerging natural resource challenges.
Supporting Extension Specialists, NRI personnel, and the University’s Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management (RWFM) in implementing programs and creating educational resources that address priority areas identified by RREA in Texas.
Facilitates collaborative research, education and technical assistance pertaining to the human and natural environment, within and beyond the region, among federal and state agencies, universities and non-governmental organizations.
