30 years in the Federal Wildland and Marine Corps Fire Service. Recently retired from MCB Camp Pendleton Fire & Emergency Services as a Division Chief of Operations. Throughout my career, I have spent time in operational positions including Hotshot, Engine and Helitack crews with the United States Forest Service on the Cleveland National Forest. My Marine Corps Fire Service experience has been with the MCAS Miramar Fire Department and with Camp Pendleton where I gained management experience in programs such as Hazardous Materials, fire apparatus and equipment research and development, wildland fire operations, fuels management and prescribed fire operations. I have served on National Type 1 and Local Type 3 Incident Management Teams and participated on regional prescribed fire cadres. I functioned as Chairperson and member of the California Incident Command Certification System at the state, regional and local levels.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling with my wife and daughters. I spend most of my time as a soccer dad and I try to get in as much mountain biking as I can.
