Kara serves as a Project Coordinator supporting the Camp Bullis Sentinel Landscapes initiative and the Army Environmental Command's REPI program. Her responsibilities include coordinating conservation projects, facilitating partnerships with private landowners, and ensuring land management practices meet military readiness and sustainability objectives. Her background is rooted in wildlife management and sustainability, with experience in habitat restoration, ecological monitoring, and conservation planning. During college, she worked on projects focused on improving biodiversity, managing native ecosystems, and promoting sustainable land use practices through research and hands-on fieldwork.

She earned a B.S. in Natural Resources Management with a concentration in Wildlife Biology from Texas Tech University in 2025.

In her free time, Kara enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing, as well as exploring new places. She is also passionate about music and spending quality time with family.
