Claire serves as the Program Manager for the Ecological Resilience Team at the Institute, where she leads the United States Marine Corps portfolio. Working across both the headquarters and installation levels, she leads projects on a diverse range of natural resource planning, compliance, and resilience initiatives to support the military mission. Her and her team's current areas of focus include the development and implementation of Integrated Natural Resource Management Plans (INRMPs), geospatial and environmental analyses, endangered species recovery efforts, coastal resilience, and coordination with federal, state, and installation-level stakeholders. She works to support natural resource programs and their alignment with the United States Marine Corps and the Department of War's priorities. While her work with the USMC spans nationwide, there is a particular emphasis on the southeast and west/pacific regions.

Claire also works with the Readiness and Environmental Protection Integration (REPI) program, Sentinel Landscape, and various regional partnerships to further improve the collaboration with the military and the surrounding environment. Prior to joining NRI, she worked in risk analysis and sustainability policy surrounding federal environmental compliance.

Claire received a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Franklin and Marshall College and a Master of Research in Climate Change and Society from North Carolina State University.

Outside of work, Claire enjoys traveling, anything outdoors, and spending time with her rescue dogs. She's especially passionate about ocean and coastline conservation and also volunteers with various coastal programs in North Carolina.
