Tomas joined Texas A&M Natural Resources Institute in June 2019 as a summer intern and now works as a Research Technician at Joint Base San Antonio - Camp Bullis. As a Research Technician, Tomas helps manage the feral hog program and Karst Invertebrate Monitoring System research project.

Tomas is currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science & Ecology with a focus in Natural Resources Management at The University of Texas-San Antonio.

In his free time, Tomas enjoys rock climbing, hiking and mountain biking.
