Matthew Grassi is a research assistant with Texas A&M Natural Resource Institute. He is working alongside U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service personnel to monitor the endangered Key deer throughout the New World screwworm incident in the Florida Keys.
Matt graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He enjoys being outdoors whether it is fishing, hiking or biking.
