Kevin Knapick joined the Texas A&M Natural Resources Institute in May 2019 as a research assistant. His work primarily focuses on feral hog management at Joint Base San Antonio but also extends to supporting other projects including wildlife monitoring and management involving white-tailed deer and endangered species.
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science double major in forestry and renewable natural resources with a minor in rangeland ecology and management from Texas A&M University in 2016. In 2018, Kevin completed his master’s degree in natural resources development from Texas A&M University where his focus on prescribed fire led to a passion for wildlife and vegetation management.
In his free time, Kevin enjoys being outdoors, solving Rubik’s cubes, and supporting Texas A&M Aggie sports teams.
