Carolina Loera

Project Specialist III

Carolina serves as a Project Specialist at Fort Irwin National Training Center. Her work focuses on surveying and monitoring threatened and endangered species, including the Mojave desert tortoise and Lane Mountain milkvetch, to support conservation efforts and ensure compliance with environmental regulations on military lands. During her undergraduate studies, she worked on projects focused on monitoring wildlife migration patterns and led research developing strategies to mitigate invasive species impacts on native California ecosystems.

She earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Riverside.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, and playing board games with her family.
