Caitlyn serves as a Research Assistant for the Strategic Conservation Policy Program. Her work focuses on the social aspects of military conservation, particularly with Endangered Species Act compliance and community engagement. Additionally, she supports the internship program in collaboration with the Texas A&M Department of Rangeland, Wildlife, and Fisheries Management (RWFM) to encourage student engagement within the Institute. She primarily works in the human dimensions of natural resources, endangered species management, and environmental policy. Her goal is to engage various stakeholders to work together toward sustainable management.

She earned her B.S. in Rangeland, Wildlife, and Fisheries Management and a Minor in Agricultural Communications & Journalism from Texas A&M University in 2025, and is currently pursuing an M.S. in RWFM with a concentration on the Human Dimensions of Natural Resources.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her beagle Moon, horseback riding, and spending time with friends.
