Project Specialist II
hunter.parker@ag.tamu.eduHunter serves as a Project Specialist for the Camp Bullis Sentinel Landscape Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP). He assists in utilizing conservation planning and land stewardship practices to both enhance private lands in central Texas and protect natural resources to support military readiness at Joint Base San Antonio - Camp Bullis. He is proficient in advanced analyses using R and GIS tools, analysis of environmental policy impacts, and implementation of wildlife management techniques. His experiences range from development of water quality optimization models to using GIS analyses to assessments of the impacts of regulatory efforts on surface water quality. His diverse array of knowledge across habitat management, data analysis, and regulatory policy allows him to help create innovative solutions and communicate key information to others.
He earned a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University and holds a Master of Public Service and Administration Degree in Public Policy Analysis from the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University.
Outside of work, Hunter enjoy archery, fly fishing, leatherworking, and hiking with his wife. He also frequently serves as a volunteer at his church.
