Mallory Eastland serves as the Sentinel Landscapes Coordinator for the Department of Defense (DoD) Readiness and Environmental Protection Integration (REPI) Program within the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). The REPI Program preserves military missions by supporting cost-sharing agreements between the Military Services, other federal agencies, state and local governments, and private conservation organizations to avoid land use conflicts near military installations, address environmental restrictions that limit military activities, and increase resilience to climate change. In supporting the REPI Program, Mallory focuses on coordinating the Sentinel Landscapes Partnership, a coalition of federal agencies, state and local governments, and non-governmental organizations that work with willing landowners and land managers to advance sustainable land use practices around military installations and ranges.

Prior to her position as Sentinel Landscapes Coordinator, Mallory served as coordinator for the South Atlantic Salt Marsh Initiative and as project coordinator for the Texas A&M Natural Resources Institute (NRI) under the Military Lands Sustainability Program and Strategic Conservation and Policy Program. Mallory earned a Bachelor of Science from Texas State University and a Master of Science in environmental science from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Mallory grew up in east Texas but relocated to North Carolina with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and getting outdoors.
