Alison Lund receives Yellow Rose of Texas Commission
NRI's Alison Lund was recently awarded the Yellow Rose of Texas by Governor Abbott. The Yellow Rose of Texas is the highest award presented to women in Texas. The commission is given by the Texas Governor in honor of Texas women who have demonstrated exceptional volunteer and community service.
Alison was awarded for her extensive community service in several community programs like Boys & Girls Club, Hospice, American Red Cross, Meals on Wheels America among others, for her military volunteer time in Family Readiness Groups and United Service Organization, and most recently, for her efforts to raise money for families in the Port Aransas area affected by Hurricane Harvey.
