2:30: Texas Land Trends Dr. Roel Lopez, Texas A&M NRI

Dr. Lopez will showcase the most recent land trends in Texas and discuss how land fragmentation, population growth and changing demographics will impact the landscape of Texas.

3:00: Endangered Species and Private Lands Dr. Neal Wilkins, East Foundation

Dr. Wilkins will use current efforts to save the Texas ocelot as an example for endangered species management in our changing landscape.

Justin will discuss the challenge Texas faces when future generations are not connected to the land and will explore the many ways private landowners in South Texas can participate in reversing this trend.
