Project Coordinator
hayley.murray@ag.tamu.eduHayley Murray joined the Texas A&M Natural Resources Institute at the start of 2025 and works as a Project Coordinator for the Private Land Stewardship Academy and San Bernadino National Wildlife Refuge restoration projects. As a project coordinator she is in close coordination with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies, and university partners throughout the country, focusing on communication and project goals and progress.
Before taking on a role with NRI, Hayley was a project manager in the field of design and construction, working closely with clients, contractors, and project partners. Her easy-going nature, high standards for organization, communication, and attention to detail all pivotal in forming relationships and driving project timelines.
Hayley is a prior student of Texas A&M University at Galveston, having studied Marine Biology for 3 years before having to leave for family reasons. After a ~10-year hiatus from school, she will be wrapping up her Bachelor of Science in Environmental & Ecosystem Sciences through Washington State University in the fall of 2025.
Outside of work, Hayley enjoys exploring with her husband and two kids, hiking, reading (highly recommend Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer), writing, traveling, and all things music.
